Day 2 of the blog brings us a new release from a talented Baton Rouge, LA duo called Twin Brothers Darkness. Described as conscious music for the unconscious mind, it's a dope mix of hip hop, trip hop, drum n bass & dubstep with submliminal instructions laced throughout. . .
Formerly known as The Beat Mekanix, TBD is comprised of Shaman AKA El Noche & Loki Cocepeli. . . I first met these cats as they were rocking a show @ The Caterie with RibbZ & Pixel of the Kryptic Soul System. . . I'm vibin out to their sounds and they call me up to break it down with em and the rest is history . . . We blazed that joint like we'd been at it for years - then afterwards in the sound van :) . . . From there, they gave me access to their INFINITE vaults of sounds from which I found several nice cuts, a couple that appear on 'It's Always Something' (Four Years & Runnin / Count Em on One Hand) . . . We're currently putting in work on an effort entitled 'Saturn's Pattern' that explores consciousness & singularity (don't worry - it's COMING!!!) . . .
